Chris Mottershead has over 20 years of top level tour operating experience from top to the bottom  with a deep knowledge of the cross-departmental functions across the business. Chris Mottershead started from finances and accounting and has build his career to become CEO and Managing Director of major businesses like TUI UK and TUI Russia & CIS.

Total consolidation turnover was approximately 2 billion pounds made up in the following way:- 900 retail shops with a gross turnover of 1.3 billion pounds , call centres with a turnover of 400 million pounds, internet sales of 300 million and 4 million holidays sold for 1.8 billion pounds. Responsible for 10,000 staff based in the UK and overseas.

June 1993 - December 2001

Management and profit responsibility for all North American companies excluding TSI. Companies included Sunquest Vacations and Alba Tours, two of the leading charter tour operators in Canada. The Holiday Network, the largest FIT/consolidator in Canada and various retail companies. In the USA I had responsibility for Suntrips. A West Coast charter tour operator and Vacation Express, a South East charter tour operator. Total turnover for all companies was $1.8 billion. AIRTOURS CAREER: started as Finance Director of Airtours Holidays, then moved on to Deputy Managing Director & Finance Director, then promoted to Managing Director of Airtours Holidays. The final stage was becoming President and CEO of North American Leisure Group.
